Ruby Merlene Fox (Elliott)

Ruby Fox (Elliott), born January 21, 1947, in Hamilton, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 in Everett, WA

Ruby was a loving and devoted mother to Chance Green, Amanda Elliott, and Makayla Vansickle. Her pride and joy were her granddaughters, Madison Rivera, Machesney Rivera, and Arianah Vanderwal, who brought immense happiness to her life.

She is survived by her daughters, granddaughters, siblings Vic Fox, Larry Fox, and Shirley Hotts along with numerous loving nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved son, Chance Green; her parents, Ern and Merle Fox; her sisters, Pauline Coward, Emma Ernamae Cahill Fox, and Kathy Fox; and her brothers, Jim Fox, Mike Fox, and Kenny Fox.

In her younger years, Ruby was known as an excellent pool player. She loved the color red and was a deeply loving person who opened her heart to many. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the love she shared so freely with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Hamilton Cemetery on March 8th at 10am. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at Cascade Flats in Sedro-Woolley.
