Russell Lee Davis

Russell L. Davis of Palm Springs, CA passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 at the age of 89. He was born in Oskaloosa, IA. He attended Oskaloosa High School and graduated from the University of Iowa. He was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity.

Russ began his career with Keystone Steel and Wire where he was a General Sales Manager. His job relocated him to California where he had a long successful sales career with companies such as Oklahoma Steel. Most recently, he was working with Fibrestar selling steel products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Thelma Davis; brothers, Rex and Don Davis. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Turpin, several nieces and a nephew. A private graveside service will be held by the family.

He will be missed by many friends in the Palm Springs area where he lived for many years.
