Rusty R. DiLazzaro

WEYMOUTH - Russell R. "Rusty" DiLazzaro, age 61, of Weymouth, passed away on November 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Rusty had a passion for cars and spent his whole life working in the automotive industry. He was happiest around the ocean where he enjoyed boating and fishing with his friends and family. Being a big fan of Boston sports, he rarely ever missed a Celtics or Patriots game. Rusty was a lifelong member of the Weymouth Eagles and loved spending his Friday nights playing pool with his friends.

He was the beloved husband of Sue Anne (Atherton) DiLazzaro of Weymouth for 36 years; proud father of Renay DiLazzaro of Weymouth, Derek Holbrook and wife Renay Holbrook of Hanson; loving grandfather of Riley and Jakob; cherished son-in-law of Olive Anne Atherton of Weymouth. Rusty will be greatly missed by his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

According to Rusty's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
