Ryan Michael Klick passed away suddenly at the age of 33 on January 21, 2025. Ryan was born in Mesa, Arizona, on January 25, 1991, to Gregory W. Klick and Jennifer L. Cruise. Ryan was lovingly raised in Gilbert, Arizona, by his father, Greg, and his stepmother, Samantha Klick.

Ryan was very intelligent and did well in school. His favorite subject in high school was foreign language, choosing Japanese over other offered languages. Ryan traveled to Japan before graduating and hoped to return for another visit.

After graduating from high school in 2009, Ryan served his country in the United States Army with the Fourth Infantry Division as a Combat Engineer. He was stationed in Iraq during Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, where he received the Army Commendation Medal in recognition of his exceptional meritorious service as a BFV driver, gunner, and operator of the RQ-16 T-Hawk for his battalion.

After completing his military service, Ryan attended Arizona State University and embarked on a professional career in Information Technology. He rose to the position of Information Technology Manager for a national organ transplant logistics company. He later continued with a national software development company, where he was respected for his ideas, skills, and attention to detail.

He was cherished for his gentle nature and was known as a homebody who enjoyed reading, computer games, Asian cuisine, soccer, and spending quality time with friends, family, and his beloved dog, Rua. Gifted musically, Ryan taught himself to play both the guitar and piano without formal instruction, often retreating to his room to play piano as a way to relax and find peace.

Ryan is survived by his brothers, Brandon, Matthew, and Daniel; his sister, Sophia; his father, Greg; and his stepmother, Samantha, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Jane (Wallsten) Klick. A private memorial service was held for Ryan, attended by his family and close friends.

Contributions in his memory can be made to organizations dedicated to veterans suffering from PTSD or the prevention of suicide. Ryan's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him as a kind and creative soul who brought joy to every life he touched.
