Samuel Porch

Samuel Lee Porch, 74, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama. Born on May 11, 1951, in Montgomery, Alabama, he lived a life rooted in his Southern heritage and enriched by the simple pleasures he cherished.

Samuel was the beloved husband of Marie Porch and a devoted father to his daughter, Samantha Morris. He shared a close bond with his son-in-law, Bill Morris, and took great pride in his grandson, David Morris. He is also remembered fondly by his sister, Kathy Turner.

Throughout his life, Samuel found joy in the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He had a love for language that he expressed through his passion for crossword puzzles. In quieter moments, he enjoyed watching his favorite television show, Blue Bloods—a pastime that brought him comfort and entertainment.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Quentin Porch and Lee Willett Porch.

Samuel's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy bring peace and comfort to all who mourn his passing.
