Sandra Desgrange

Sandra Louise Desgrange, 63, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Fernley, Nevada.

Born on September 8, 1962, in #88 Tongpok-ri, Pyongtaek-up, Pyongtaek-kun, Korea, Sandra was the beloved daughter of Clifford Norman Desgrange and Koiko Abe. Throughout her life, Sandra was known for her kind heart and selfless nature. She consistently placed the needs of others before her own and found joy in caring for those she loved.

Sandra dedicated much of her professional life to the medical field. She worked closely with neurosurgeons during the majority of her career and brought compassion and diligence to every role she held. In her final years of service, she worked at the Reno VA Medical Center, where she continued to make a meaningful impact through her commitment to helping others.

She is survived by her cherished daughter Christian Desgrange; son in-law John Preece; her sister Kathy Desgrange; and two brothers, Thomas Desgrange (Cheryl) and John Desgrange (Kristina). Sandy also leaves behind a large extended family who will miss her dearly: nieces and nephews Marcus Andrade (Greer), Candace Andrade, Melissa Evans (Hayward), Thomas Desgrange, Michael Andrade, Devin Forester, Anthony Desgrange, Jacob Desgrange, Jordin Taylor, Johnathan Desgrange, Adrienne Gutierrez, Michael Gutierrez, Emerson Evans and Easton Evans. Her lifelong best friend Cynthia Denton-Hutchinson also mourns her passing.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Koiko Desgrange.

Those who knew Sandra will remember her warmth and generosity. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched through both her personal relationships and professional dedication. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
