Sandra (Sandi) Diane Lynn, daughter of the late Calvin and Eunice Reed, died peacefully in the arms of her husband, Forrest (Frosty) Wooldridge on February 18, 2026. Sandi was seventy-five. She passed after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, which Frosty nursed her through for six years.

Sandi’s true north was helping others. She attended the University of Wyoming where she obtained her B.S. in nursing and became a registered nurse. She practiced nursing for thirty-five years, both as a visiting nurse and as a case manager. She continued working while raising her two sons with enormous love. She was also able to use her passion for helping others as a life coach, through Life Vantage Entrepreneurs. At Denver’s Mile-Hi Church, Sandi became a Professional Practitioner, through Science of Mind, listening to and praying with those who needed help. She also founded and led a women’s spiritual group which continues today as part of her legacy, along with her two sons, both fine young men, her long list of friends, and all the lives she has touched. Sandi gave grace, joy, and light to all who were lucky enough to be in her sphere.

Sandi led a cheerleading squad in high school, a fact that would surprise no one who knew her, as she cheered on every person she loved.. A talented seamstress, she designed and sewed her own clothes. She also frequented vintage stores. Sandi wrote a book about it: Save Money: Thrift and Consignment Clothes Shopping, still available on Amazon.

Her marriage to Frosty Wooldridge began with dancing. They spent 32 years together, dancing, cycling, hiking, camping, and traveling, until the last six years when Frosty cared for her around the clock. Although for the first three of those years, they still shared more limited adventures cycling, traveling, hiking, and at times, slow-dancing in the kitchen.

Sandi is survived by her husband, Frosty Wooldridge, her sons Dan Lynn and Trevor Lynn, her brother Robert Reed and sister-in-law Pierina Deiana Reed, her sister Cheryl Schell and brother-in-law Dave Schell, sister Tami Ford and brother-in-law Ken Ford, her former sister-in-law and life-long friend, Linda Cutting, and many, many other friends, especially those from her women’s spiritual group who have been supporting and helping Sandi’s husband, Frosty, cope with his grief.

Sandi will long be remembered for her faith, joy, love, care, and boisterous laugh. She often threw her arms up in the air for photographs, as if welcoming life in all its possibilities. She was like liquid on the dance floor, wearing sparkly shoes that flashed like diamonds as she spun in Frosty’s arms. Sandi was a shining light in all that she said and did. Even though her words became fewer as Alzheimer’s ran its course, her beautiful smile, which had all but disappeared for the last two years of her life, reappeared on her 75th birthday, six days before she died. Hers was a genuine, joyful smile that lit up every room she entered.

There will be a memorial service for Sandra Lynn on March 28th, 2026 at Mile-Hi Church, 9077 West Alameda Ave., Lakewood, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Sandi’s favorite organization that cleans up plastics from our oceans, 40cean Foundation, www.4oceanfoundation.org.
