HILLIGOSS, Sandra Ellen “Sandy” age 73 formerly of Troy, Michigan. Gained her wings on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She graduated from Troy High School in 1971.
Sandy loved bowling , baseball, football and gambling.
She loved doing things with her son and her many nieces and nephews, like sledding and going to watch their sporting events. They all loved her for her great sense of humor.
She tended bar for Mary and Ernie Damron at Pastime Bar and Lanes for many years, where she met many great friends!
And went on to work for William Beaumont Hospital until her retirement.
Proceeded in death by her parents Barbara and Elmer (Ken) Hilligoss, her son Jesse Hilligoss, her brother Kenneth Hilligoss, and three sisters Sharon Prince, Georgia Hilligoss and Sheila Deason.
She is survived by two brothers Gary Hilligoss and Randy Hasty. Six sisters, Katherine Schoenrock, Patricia Elliott, Deborah Waskin, Brenda Browning, Pamela Elmore, and Cynthia Hilligoss also many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
We will have a celebration of life at Centerline Memorial Park. We don’t have an exact date yet but we are aiming for Friday, July 17th. Hope to see you all there to share your stories.
