Sandy Lewis, 82 years young, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2026, surrounded by family both in person and on the phone.

She was born on October 20, 1943, to Bess Chambers and Charles Woodbridge. Sandy lived a life centered on Christ, family, and friends.

She dedicated many years of service to her community and family. She worked as the cafeteria manager at Perry Middle School, where she was known for her kindness and warm spirit toward the students she served each day. A proud graduate of The Ohio State University, she later worked as a fiscal agent in several hospitals throughout Florida.

Faith was the foundation of Sandy's life. She and her husband raised their children, Mark and Becky, at Orange Road Friends Church in Lewis Center. She later attended Genoa Church in Lewis Center for nine years and most recently became part of the Jersey Church community in Pataskala, Ohio.

Sandy loved quilting, knitting, crocheting, and many other handcrafts. She also volunteered more than 2,000 hours at SourcePoint Senior Center in Lewis Center. Above all, she cherished time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Becky Brookover and Jeff Tenant of Pataskala, Ohio; her grandchildren Nick Lewis; Nichole and Rafael Ravelo; Destiny and Joseph Davis; Rachael Lahodik; Wayne and Lauren Brookover; and Bradley Brookover. She is also survived by her brother Charles "Ray" Woodbridge and Melanie Woodbridge and their daughters Lori Skeldon, Kimberly Cochran, and Jennifer Marcum.

She leaves behind seven beloved great-grandchildren: Destin, Cyrus, Brayden, Abel, Ezekiel, Felix Ravelo, and Ethan Davis, along with many other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert "Pops" Lewis; her son Mark Lewis; her son-in-law Wayne Brookover Jr.; and her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Rd, on April 4, 2026. Family will receive guests for visitation at 1130am with memorial service to follow at 12pm.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort knowing she is now reunited in heaven with Pops, Mark, Wayne, and many loved ones, resting in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served.
