Sandra Joyce Shedaker (Osgood)
December 8, 1938 - September 25, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra "Sandy" Joyce Shedaker, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on September 25, 2025, at the age of 86. Sandy was born on December 8, 1938, in Troy, New York, the cherished daughter of Joyce McLean Hohmann (Lewis) and Millard Lewis Osgood.
She lived her life guided by love, kindness, and generosity, and she will be remembered for her patience, strength, and gentle humor. Family was Sandy's greatest joy.
She is survived by her children: Donald Jr. (Sheila), Kenneth (Deborah), Shannan (Chris), and Janina. She was the proud grandmother of Lauren (Corey), Amanda, Victor (Gianna), Kevin, Donnie (Lucia), Derrick, Cory, Cody (Casey), Missy (Bobby), Michaela (Dillon), Devin, Larissa, and Caitlyn, and the adoring great-grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving siblings Diane (Bob), Leo (Willie), and Dennis, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Donald M. Shedaker Sr.; her sons, David, Dale, Daniel and Kevin, her grandson, William S. Vincent; her mother, Joyce; and her father, Millard.
Sandy touched countless lives with her compassion and devotion, both within her
family and her community. Her legacy is one of love, patience, and strength ̶ a legacy that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Celebration of Life
A service to honor Sandy's life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Dobbins Methodist Church, 330 Union Ave, Delanco, NJ.
Visitation: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Service: 11:00 AM
Light Refreshments to follow: Elks Lodge No. 2550, 315 Green St., Beverly, NJ
