Sara Beth Barber (43), of Coon Rapids, MN, died unexpectedly January 1, 2026.
She was born March 27, 1982, in Edina, MN, a daughter of Tricia Martindale and the late Jerry Barber.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Stevenson; her children, Stryder and Sawyer Simpson; stepson, Vincent Stevenson; mother, Tricia (Rick) Martindale; sister, Katie Barber and countless other friends and family.
In addition to her father, Sara was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Schutz; brother, Thomas Barber; and nephews, Cody and Hunter Barber.
Sara was a bright light to all who knew her. She was funny, smart and loved fishing, cooking and "doing all the things" with friends. She will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Anoka American Legion Post #102; 400 W Main St., Anoka, MN 55303.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at the Celebration of Life. If you would like to donate, but are unable to attend, please reach out to friends or family for more information.
