Sarah Lynn Merrifield

November 5, 1973 - March 26, 2026

“Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.”

These words, which Sarah Merrifield lived by, were not just a quote to her, they were a reflection of how she faced life every single day.

Sarah was the embodiment of strength, resilience, and grace. She carried herself with a beautiful spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Through life’s challenges, she did not falter, she grew. Her resilience was not only a testament to her character, but an inspiration to her family, friends, and all who crossed her path.

Sarah had a rare way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. She also had a deep passion for cooking, and she generously shared her recipes and meals with friends and neighbors, bringing people together in the most meaningful ways. She meant so much to so many, and her impact will be felt for generations. Her life, though far too short, was filled with purpose, connection, and love.

She was predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Ferdinand and Lorraine Lynn, Albert and Marie Merrifield and her cherished daughter, Lauren.

Sarah is survived by her loving parents, Cheryl Merrifield, Rick Radecki, and Allen Merrifield; her brother, Jeff Merrifield; her niece, Lea Merrifield, and her nephew, Lex Merrifield; along with her aunts, uncles, and many devoted cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

Sarah’s life reminds us that even in the face of adversity, we can rise, grow, and discover the very best parts of ourselves. Her strength, her love, and her spirit will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a beacon of light and hope.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
