Sarah came into this world as a wild and free spirit on August 28, 1987. Becoming the heart of our family, the designated jokester and entertainer. Some might've even referred to her as a stinker, running around the yard finding creepy crawlies and making mud pies. She would fall asleep next to said mud pies leaving everyone in a panic looking for her. This would start her love for hide-and-seek, often to the point where 911 would almost be called until her maniacal giggles gave her hiding spot away. There was not one holiday or family reunion where Sarah wasn't the center of attention making everybody laugh. As she got older, she decided that she would start cooking for everyone. With a twist when she discovered she could put food coloring in everything.
It might've been green but it was always delicious.

Sarah attended East Elementary where she was always the class clown and the teacher's favorite. And no one can forget when Sarah sluffed school in first grade by walking home and climbing through the kitchen window to take one of her notorious naps. She would go on to Cross Hollows, Cedar Middle, and would be a graduate of Cedar High School in 2005. According to Sarah, her 1977 Dodge which she called Scoob was hands down the best truck at Cedar High School.

Sarah worked at Lagoon for twenty-four years. Here is what her coworkers thought of her: "Sarah was everyone's friend at Lagoon, where she worked for many years. She naturally attracted people with her enthusiastic personality and made coming to work an adventure. When you were lucky enough to work alongside her she was an excellent teacher. She would smooth a hard moment with her quick wit, or favourite movie line. She was very intuitive when it came to recognizing others' needs, often putting them before her own. Sarah was our friend and treated us like family. She will never know how many lives she influenced, but we will keep smiling and hold her sweet spirit in our hearts."

Sarah's great love was movies and music. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones if you were the recipient of one of her eccentric mixtapes or her reenactments of entire movie scenes. No matter the situation Sarah always had a movie quote to go with it.

You knew when Sarah was in a room because of the laughter. That was her gift to make everyone feel comfortable and safe when they were with her. Sarah was a helper, whether that meant making you soup when you were sick or baking her twinkies when you were sad, that is who she was, a caring generous person. Sarah never stopped being the heart of our family and her Lagoon family. Without a doubt, Sarah was everyone's favorite person-she was just too easy to love.

While she was the heart of our family, her Abbi, Emma, and Dylan were her heart and world. They will carry a part of her with them for the rest of their lives through their sense of humor, generosity, and their love of movies and music.

To know Sarah was to first know laughter. Then absolute love and generosity that had no bounds. Sarah loved like no one else. To be loved by her was like touching the stars.

Sarah is preceded in death by her grandfather Ronald Parry. She is survived by her parents, Andrew and Mari Kay Parry, her sister Brittanie Parry (Lonnie). Her niece and nephew, Emma and Dylan Parry. Her grandparents, Joan Parry, Judy Walters, Hank Walters (Jane). Her aunts, Laurie Parry, Boni Walters-Thompson, and Wendy McLaughlin. And her cousins, Abbi Thompson and Megan McLaughlin.
