Scott Wayne Ford, 66, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on February 3, 2026, in his hometown. Born on August 15, 1959, in Lexington, Scott spent his life rooted in the community he loved.
For over 25 years, Scott dedicated himself to his work as an L1 Master Technician at Ken Towery's. His commitment to excellence and strong work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike. Known for his mechanical expertise and reliability, Scott took pride in solving problems and helping others keep their vehicles running smoothly.
Outside of work, Scott found joy in the outdoors. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed nurturing plants and watching them thrive. Hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes—activities that allowed him to connect with nature and unwind. His love for animals was well known among those close to him.
Scott's personality was marked by a fun-loving spirit and a great sense of humor. He had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease. Outgoing and kind-hearted, he brought warmth into every room he entered.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Ford; his daughter Jessica Allex and her husband Chris; granddaughters Nokomis Eversole (Tommy), Lucinda Fairbanks, and Kera Jones; great-grandchildren Nahko Elkins and Bryleigh Jones; sister Debra Corn; and nieces Donna Davis and Marsha Corn.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Anna Marie Blakeman, father Armon Ford, grandmother Mary Blakeman, and brother-in-law Donald Corn.
