Scott Lee Kartak

Scott L Kartak 69, of Delaware, Ohio passed away on 03/06/2026. He was home surrounded by family after a brief battle with T cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Scott was born on 05/16/1956 in Delaware, Ohio to Karl Kartak and Norma Jean (Weber).
He loved motorcycles and riding with friends. Nascar, drag racing fueled him. He loved old westerns and the whole western vibe. His road name was 'Cowboy'. He inherited a great love of airplanes from his father. Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State, Buckeyes were his football teams. He also loved cooking for a crowd and receiving compliments for his meals.
One of his most recent accomplishments was being ordained in the order of Melchizedek.
He adored his family, there was no 'step', he loved them all, even though he was known as Grumpy Grampa.
Scott is survived by his wife, Cindy . His children Ian(Loretta Collison) Kartak, Erikka (Colin Amidon) Kartak, Tristan Price, Mikayla (Darryl) Ginyard and Shannon Price. His brothers, Charles (Connie Brey) Kartak and Bryan (LeeAnn Conklin) Kartak. His former wife, Linda Pennington Kartak. Many nieces and nephews and more grandchildren than I can list.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
