Scott Lavignette

Scott Dale "Scotty" Lavignette, 42, passed away on April 6, 2026, in Biloxi, Mississippi. Born on August 18, 1983, in Denver, Colorado, Scott lived a life filled with creativity, love for his family, and a deep connection to his faith.

Scott was the beloved son of Teresa and Robert Walker and the late Lance Lavignette Sr. He cherished his daughter, Addison Margaret Lavignette. His family meant everything to him; he leaves behind siblings: brothers Lance Lavignette and Jonathan Lavignette (Autumn), sister Robyn Fairchild (Julia), stepbrother Branden Walker (Chasady), and stepsisters Kayla Franklin (David) and Robyn Coltrane (Caleb). Scott also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A talented artist with a passion for creativity, Scott expressed himself through his art and found inspiration in the beauty of nature. He especially loved walking along the beach at sunset—a place where he felt peace and connection. His sense of humor and caring nature brought joy to those around him. Despite facing challenges with diabetes, Scott remained resilient and steadfast in his faith as a Christian. His belief in God provided him strength and comfort.

Scott was predeceased by his father Lance Lavignette Sr., his aunts Susan Holden and Katy Smith, and his grandparents Louis and Margaret O'Rourke, Charles Lavignette, and Brian Kelley. Their memories were deeply treasured by Scott during his lifetime.

Scott’s legacy lives on through the love he shared with his family and friends. His artistic spirit, warm heart, freestyle humor, and love for those he cared about will be remembered always.

A private service and Celebration of Life will be held to honor Scott.
