64 years of age, suddenly passed away in his home in Mineral, Virginia.
Scott was born on July 17, 1961, to Geneva and Jackson Poythress.
After graduation High School he moved to Raleigh, later to Richmond, and spent the last 20 years of his life at Lake Anna, where he ran a successful irrigation company with his business partner.
Scott found joy in simple pleasure being on the water, boating, jet skiing, traveling, road trips, and savoring good food. He was a kind man, and those who knew him, will remember the countless ways he showed up for others.
Scott is survived by his mother, Geneva; his wife, Saskia; his children, Crystal and Joshua; his stepdaughter, Melissa; his brothers, Gary and Ronald; his grandchildren, Saylor, Brooklyn, Joshlyn, and Cohen. He is preceded in death by his father, Jackson
