Sharen C. Lehman (née Carville), age 81, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Modena Cherry Creek, Denver, Colorado. Born on November 16, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida, Sharen lived a full and vibrant life marked by curiosity, compassion, and a deep appreciation for the world around her.
Sharen pursued her education at Duquesne University and went on to build a career that reflected both her professionalism and adaptability. She worked in the banking business and later served as a reservationist for United Airlines—roles that allowed her to engage with people from all walks of life and fueled her lifelong love of travel.
Travel was one of Sharen's greatest joys. She embraced new experiences with enthusiasm and delighted in discovering new places and cuisines. A true lover of culture, she enjoyed reading widely, attending concerts and plays, and immersing herself in cinema. Her passion for music and the arts enriched her life and those around her.
Sharen had a special place in her heart for animals and shared her home over the years with many beloved pets, including dogs and cats who brought her comfort and companionship.
She was deeply rooted in her faith, having attended Catholic schools and church throughout her life. In recent months, Sharen expressed a heartfelt desire to forgive and be forgiven—a testament to the depth of her introspection and grace. She was especially grateful for the caregivers who supported her during this time.
Those who knew Sharen will remember her as kind-hearted and generous to those she loved. Her sense of humor brought lightness to many moments, endearing her to close friends and family alike. She had an uncanny ability to remember birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays—always making others feel seen and celebrated. Her insights into relationships, politics, favorite restaurants, and films were often thoughtful—and always memorable.
Sharen is lovingly remembered by her daughter Rachel Dahle; son-in-law Trygve F. Dahle III; grandchildren Trygve F. Dahle IV and Serena Gossack; son-in-law Anthony Gossack, Alisa Dahle; sisters Patty Lubawy, Michele Carville, and Carol Stohrer; as well as many others whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Carville and Nina Carville; brother John Carville Jr.
Cremation will be held February 7,2026.
