Celebrating the Loving Lilc o Ms. Sharon Gennell Kecton
The Loving and Caring
On the morning of July 7, 1967, in
Kerens, ITX. a beautiful baby girl was born
to Jimmie Nell Hornbuckle and Joe Dean
Betts. ad- he was named Sharon Gennell
Hornbuckle
Sharon will be remembered for being a
loving and caring woman who showed
her love by nurturing and taking-care
ar an vone that she came in contict
with, Losing Sharon so unexpectedly
will be forever hard, but she will forever
be in our hearts
Sharon gained her formal education from
Kerens, Tx public school system and she later
attended Parks Jr College where she received
her Associates in Executive Administration. Sharon worked
for the Pepsi Cola for many years but was
close to retiring from the United States Postal office.
On January 10, 2026, heaven gates opened for one of God's
precious children. Sharon is proceeded in death by her father

Keeton, and Terence Keeton, her siblings Keith (Tina)
Hornbuckle, Carl Hombuckle, Madelene (Ronald) Williams,
Natalie (Ron) Bush, Angela Modester, Raymond Tolliver,
Donna Sterns, Jo (Dâvid) Hogg, ShaShaunda (Claven)
Williams, and Breanna Gonzales, her
grandchildren Cassidy Kecton, Kenyon
Keeton, Maverick Kèeton, Dakota
Keeton, and Arianna Keeton, and host of
other amily and friends.
NUGGETS
Sharon loved spending time with her family having a good
time but loved being the mother of her three
children, Vincent, Ashton and Terence
Being a mother was something that Sharon
treasured, but being a grandmother
gave her so much joy.
Sharon loved to shop and made sure
she went out every weekend to stock
Up. If she wasn't shopping, she could be fouind cooking and
spending time with her grandkids or taking a vacation.
Sharon was known for her love of sports and was a dichard
Cowboys fan.
