Sharon Clowe Martin (71) of Orlando, FL was born in Coral Gables, FL on October 11, 1954, and passed away on December 30, 2025, from complications of several chronic health conditions. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis H Martin and Sophia J (Clowe) Martin. She is survived by her sisters Deborah Martin (Highland, MD), Michelle Clowe (Kearneysville, WV), Katherine Clowe and brother-in-law Randall Ball (Kearneysville, WV) and her companion of 13 years William "Billy" Wilson (Orlando, FL).
Sharon earned her Master's degree in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She excelled as a Peer Specialist and helped reintegrate people with special needs and mental health issues into the community. Her strong work ethic, relentless focus and creativity allowed her to find housing and accommodations for the homeless, assistance for the needy and support for the mentally ill. She always went the extra mile to help her clients.
She had an entrepreneurial nature and wrote several children's book and developed a cat play box. Her favorite vacation spot was Hawaii where she made numerous trips with her companion Billy.
Sharon was known for her keen sense of humor and sharp dry wit. She was a lover of all animals but especially her beloved cat Solo. While her body and mind may have failed her, her heart never did.
A memorial service will be held at the Dunnellon Presbyterian Church on January 24, 2026 at 12:00 pm. The service can be accessed remotely from their YouTube channel under their "Live" section.
