Sharon Quattlebaum

Sharon Brett Quattlebaum, 81, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on February 19, 2026. Sharon was born on February 29, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida, and grew up in the Toledo area.
Sharon attended Sylvania High School, graduating in 1962. In 1969 she moved to Valdosta, Georgia, where she worked at Radiology Associates as a radiologic technologist. In October 1975, she married Dr. Robert Bugg Quattlebaum. After his death in 2001, Sharon returned to northwest Ohio in 2004 and settled in Maumee, where she shared her life with Robert “Bob” Stump, whom she had first met in high school.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Pauline Suttles Brett; her father, Dennis Joseph “Joe” Brett; and her sister, Barbra Andrews.
She is survived by her sister, Denise Brett; her daughter, Bridgett Q. Pavone, of St. Simons Island, Georgia, and Bridgett’s fiancé, Richard E. Sawyer; her son, Robert Sun Quattlebaum, of Ashland, Oregon; and her grandchildren Alexis P. Beck, Zoe D. Pavone, Gavin R. Pavone, and Everick A. Quattlebaum.
Sharon loved traveling, shopping, margaritas, her dogs, and—most of all—spending time with her children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite times were spent in Beech Mountain, NC, where many family traditions began.
She exuded happiness, never met a stranger, and made everyone laugh, without even trying. Her grandkids called her “The Entertainer.” She will be greatly missed, but the memories her loved ones shared with her will live on forever.
A celebration of life will be held in Maumee, OH on April 25th, 2026 at 11am.
