Shawn C. Dever

Shawn C. Dever, 51, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, in Fort Myers, FL. He was born on July 14, 1974, in Fort Myers, FL.

Shawn was a faithful member of Summit Church and a longtime participant and volunteer in their Recovery Ministry. He was an avid outdoorsman and early riser, enjoying the peace that comes just before a sunrise. Shawn was passionate about fishing, hunting, and Florida's nature. He loved cheering on his favorite sports teams, a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and his beloved FSU Noles.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dever, mother, Jane Dever, and brother, Jeffrey Dever.

A Celebration of Life honoring Shawn will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, at Summit Church, 19651 Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, Fort Myers, FL, 33913.
