It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shawn David Jeffrey on January 29, 2026, at the age of 43. He is predeceased by his mother, Elmira.
Shawn is survived by his father, David; his brother, Jason; his beloved sons, Everett and Eligh; their mother, Heather, with whom he shared many meaningful years; and an abundance of extended family members and friends whose lives he touched and who will miss him dearly.
A true Aquarius at heart, Shawn lived life with independence and spirit, leaving lasting memories with those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered as adventurous, funny, witty, and creative — a dreamer, a true go-getter who wasn’t afraid to take risks. He had a sharp mind and unique perspectives that naturally intrigued those around him. He embraced life with a sense of freedom and curiosity and had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether it was riding or wheeling out in the sticks, gathering around a bonfire, boating, beaching, swimming, or camping, Shawn was happiest when he was outside enjoying nature. This was especially true when in his own backyard relaxing in the company of his two precious sons, family and friends.
Condolences may be shared with the family through Care Funeral Services. A private interment will be held on April 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Royal Oak Burial Park for close family and friends, where he will be laid to rest with his cherished mother. A celebration of life will be held at the South Island Rangers facility, located at 3498 Luxton Road, on Saturday, May 9, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
