Sherry Daniels, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on July 5, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan.
Sherry was the heart of her family—steadfast, compassionate, and deeply loving. To know her was to feel cared for. She had an extraordinary way of making people feel safe, seen, and valued, and she carried that gift into every relationship in her life.
Above all else, Sherry cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to her children, Brian and Jennifer, and a proud grandmother to Jayda and Jensen, who were a source of immense joy and pride in her life. Her bond with her children was profound, rooted in unconditional love, loyalty, and friendship. Her presence was a constant source of comfort, strength, and reassurance.
Sherry's kindness extended far beyond her family. She was known for her warmth, her ability to listen without judgment, and her gentle strength. She found joy in life's quieter moments and treasured time spent with those she loved most.
She faced her illness with remarkable courage and grace. Even in her hardest moments, Sherry's love for others never wavered, and her strength left a lasting impression on everyone who walked beside her during this time.
Sherry is survived by her children, Brian Daniels and Jennifer (Joshua) Witmer; her grandchildren, Jayda and Jensen Witmer; and her sister, Shawn (Don) Miller. All who will carry her memory forward with profound gratitude and love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn and Joseph Hayes.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful beyond words for the love Sherry gave, the life she lived, and the legacy she leaves behind in the family she adored and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of Sherry's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Vintage House Banquets and Catering located at 31816 Utica Rd., Fraser, Michigan, 48026.
