Sidney Tartarkin, age 98, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026.
Sidney was born in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2003, he moved to Highland Beach, Florida with his wife Marilyn, to be closer to their children.
Sidney is survived by his children, Barry Tartarkin and Shelley Tartarkin Chermak, and son-in-law Richard Chermak. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brett and Chelsey Tartarkin, Alanna and Joshua Ditman, PJ and Romina Chermak, and Jeffrey Tartarkin. He was a proud great-grandfather of Weston, Beckett, Pierce and Jules.
Sidney will be remembered as a generous and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was respected and admired by all who knew him. He cherished his family and was always available to lend a helping hand.
Sidney was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn (Lemelman) Tartarkin and by his sister Sherre (Tartarkin) Shore.
Graveside services will be held on January 25 at 10 a.m. at Eternal Life Memorial Garden in Boynton Beach, Florida.
