Silvestra Davila Castellano

Silvestra Davila Castellano 88, of Premont Texas passed away peacefully at her residence on January 29, 2026. She was born on January 4, 1938 to Guillermo Davila and Elvira Garcia.
Silvestra was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking and doing crafts at the Casa Real where she lived many years. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids, who meant everything to her.
She joyfully united in marriage with Antonio Castellano on August 26, 1958, and shared a love-filled marriage of 25+ years, until his passing.
She is survived by two daughters Angie (Paulino) De Los Santos of Premont, TX and Alicia Castellano of Houston, TX. 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Antonio Castellano, daughter Eva Chapa and grandson Joe Chapa III.
Three brothers Alfonso, David and Daniel Davila. Two sisters Lily Gonzalez and Trini Davila.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday February 3, 2026 at the Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM, burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Carlos De Los Santos, Joe Maldonado, Anthony Mendoza, Ramiro Castellano, Carlos Castellano, Pablo Davila, Alfonso Davila Jr. and Andrew Davila.
