Beloved wife of Albert Kaplan for 73 years. Dear mother of Wendy Kaplan, Julie (Kenny) Kent, and Dale (Linda) Kaplan. Proud grandmother of Rachael (Jason) Fischer, Joseph Kent, Haley (Evan) Bridwell, and Juliet (Scott) Moon. Great-grandmother of Wyatt Fischer, Banks Bridwell, Madison Moon, and Abigail Moon. Cherished sister of Lila (the late Harold) Kaufman. Soryl was deeply social and full of life. An avid golfer and mahjong player. She was a loving and loyal friend to many, and her vibrant spirit will be dearly missed. Service Tuesday 11 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N.
