Stephanie Ann Watt

Stephanie Ann Watt, 61, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Stephanie was born on December 1, 1961, in Elyria, OH, to parents Robert and Karen Watt. She attended Elyria West School, class of 1983, before becoming a devoted mother in 1990.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents, William J. (Gertie Mae) Hill and James (Nell) Carnahan; parents, Robert and Karen Watt; sister, Dawn Watt; son, Jordan Ault; uncles, Jimmy Carnahan and James Hill; and cousin, Joe Laird.

Stephanie is survived by her devout nephew, Robert McBride; aunts and uncles, Mary (Jim) Laird, Barbara (John) Godfrey, William J. Hill Jr., Gertie (Hill) Cherek; Ashley Willets, whom she cared for as her own; as well as many loving cousins.

A celebration of life for Stephanie will take place on April 18, 2026, from 3-6 pm at Community of Faith UCC in Elyria for those who would like to celebrate her memory like it's 1999. Until then, we hold space for remembrance and music because, as Prince once said, "music is a healing force."
