Stephen W. Bosco, Jr., age 94 of Winchester, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on November 11, 2025.
Born in Boston's North End, Steve dedicated his life to hard work, family, and kindness. He enjoyed a remarkable 42-year career with Boston Edison, where he was admired for his dedication, integrity, and good nature. While working full time, Steve earned his college degree from Boston University, attending classes at night - a testament to his determination and work ethic.
Steve was a truly good man — kind, thoughtful, and well liked by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who took great joy in his family. His happiest moments were spent at home, surrounded by those he loved most. He will be deeply missed.
The beloved husband of the late Elena M. (Paolo) Bosco. The loving father of Deborah M. of Brewster, Stephen M. and his companion Christy Taylor of Lynnfield, Robert F. and his wife Ginger of Mansfield and Michael P. and his wife Katie of Winchester. The devoted grandfather of Julia, Joseph, Andrew, Taylor, Aidan, Jack, Ryan and David. The dear brother of Jean Keough of Woburn and, and the late John, Philip, Emilio "Amos," Richard, and Robert Bosco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home 760 Main St. WINCHESTER on Monday morning November 17th from 8:30 - 11:00 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary's Church Winchester at 11:30 AM. Entombment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
