With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Stephen W. Milley, who left this world peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 81.

Steve was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, and friend. He brought warmth, kindness, and a calm presence to all who knew him. His gentle spirit touched countless lives. His smile could light up a room and brought joy to everyone around him.

He was the beloved husband of CaroleAnn (Klein) Milley, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they built a life filled with faith, family, and treasured friendships.

Steve was the loving father of Leanne (Patrick) Schwab, Michelle (Jeffrey) Perdue, and Amy (Patrick) McCullough. He was a proud "Pa" to Justin (Kristin) Wurl, Nicholas Wurl, Sarah (Jacob) Bauer, Amber (Matthew) Jones, Ian (Nye) McCullough, Kaleigh (Tanner) Smith, and Allison Perdue. He was a joyful great-grandfather to Isla and Laila Wurl; Hunter and Rowen Bauer; and Oliver, Odelia, and Orion Wurl. Seeing his family bloom and grow filled his heart with joy.

Steve was the son of the late John (d. 1982) and Helen (Krafchak, d. 1985) Milley, and the loving brother of John Milley (d. 2006). He was also a beloved uncle to Helen (James) Bates, Anne (Kenneth) Heubel, and Deborah (Vic) Silvernail.

Those who knew Steve will remember his gentle presence and his kindness. A lover of nature, he enjoyed his time outdoors, tending his gardens, and fishing. He respected nature and all of God's creations. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now resting in the arms of Jesus, embraced by peace and eternal love. A celebration of Steve's life will be held at a later date, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that his memory be honored through acts of kindness, or donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

Steve will be deeply missed, but his spirit rests in God's care, and his love — and his radiant smile — will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
