On July 6, 2025, just three days shy of his 83rd birthday, Stephen Arnold Silverman left his failing body for his next great adventure, surrounded by his daughter, son-in-law, and a dear friend at his bedside.
Stephen lived boldly and fully. He was a lover of extraordinary food, a connoisseur of luxurious travel, and a dreamer who believed deeply in what was possible. He had a passion for the latest innovations—whether in vehicles, technology, or business ventures—and carried a steadfast confidence in his ability to create, build, and enjoy success.
For decades, Stephen devoted himself wholeheartedly to his work as a lawyer and businessman. His professional life was not just a career but a calling—one that connected him to a wide circle of colleagues, collaborators, and friends who became an essential part of his world.
While his relationships with his family were, at times, complex, Stephen found immense joy in bringing people together. His wife’s unforgettable dinner parties—shared over the years with Lynette, Christine, Julie, and Emma—were among his greatest pleasures. These evenings, filled with exceptional wine, exquisite meals, and lively late-night conversations, created a rhythm of connection and celebration that he deeply cherished.
For more than 60 years, Stephen could often be found riding his LifeCycle while engaged in animated phone conversations—always connecting, always in motion, and always ready to answer the next call.
No matter the season of his life, Stephen Silverman lived with intensity, curiosity, and passion—for work, for friendship, and for the experiences that made life rich.
He is survived by his wife, Emma; his children, Scott, Jennifer, Michele, Jamie, Gregory, and Jenya; and countless friends and colleagues who were touched by his presence.
He will be remembered. He will be missed.
