Steven LaMar Douros, 74, passed away July 22, 2025 in his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Provo, Utah on August 16, 1950 to Helena Wall and John Douros. He married Ella Marie Lee in 1969. He was the loving father to Stefani LeAnne, Ryan Lee, Nicholas Allen, and Chad Edward. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired as Master Sargent Douros, and spent the rest of his life being Papa and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He enjoyed riding four wheelers with his family at Sand Mountain and in his later years he picked up wood-working where he proceeded to make his grandchildren and great grandchildren toys and rocking chairs.
Much like his mother Helena, Steven had a very loving heart and would give anything to anyone in need (going as far as donating the coat off of his back to a clothing drive). You never left his house empty handed because "he bought too many" or was "going to throw it away". He always said "you can have anything you want in this house".
He is survived by his wife, four children, 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters Linda and Carole and brothers John, Michael, and Tony.
We were so blessed to know and be loved by him, and as he says "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story".
