Steven Bradley Dunscomb

Steven Bradley Dunscomb of Modesto, CA, fell asleep in death on February 2nd, 2026 at the age of 68. He was born on October 18, 1957 in Redwood City, CA. He graduated from Modesto High School in 1975 and later that year on November 29th, he married the love of his life, Carla. In 1977, they welcomed their first child, daughter Sarah, and in 1978, their youngest daughter, Melissa.

He is survived by his loving wife Carla Dunscomb, his daughters Sarah Dunscomb (Modesto, CA) and Melissa Davis (Manteca, CA), Son-In-Law Jeff Davis and Granddaughters Lauren & Allison Davis. His parents Max & Nadine Dunscomb (Oakdale, CA), his brother Ryan Dunscomb (Blanca) (Modesto, CA), along with many beloved brother & sister in laws and nieces & nephews.

Steve was known for his deep love of his family, music (which included playing guitar & singing old favorites and some classic rewrites), working outside in Jehovah's creation and ABOVE ALL, his love for his creator, Jehovah God and his service to him. Steve was baptized at the age of 12 on July 17th, 1970. He loved Jehovah with his whole heart and that loved guided everything he did. He especially loved being a Bible teacher, helping others whether through teaching or through the comfort and support provided by Jehovah's loving Hospital Liaison Committee. This brought him real joy.
