Steven "Steve" Gresham, 61, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Lutz, Florida. Born on June 7, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, Steve lived a vibrant and multifaceted life marked by adventure, compassion, and an unwavering zest for learning and exploration.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Steve pursued a wide range of passions throughout his life. He was a licensed private pilot who found joy soaring through the skies in his Cirrus 22 plane. His love for the water was equally profound—he was a certified rescue and instructor scuba diver as well as a licensed 100-ton master captain. Whether navigating the skies or the seas, Steve embraced every opportunity to explore the world around him.
Steve's professional endeavors reflected his entrepreneurial spirit and drive for excellence. He approached each venture with determination and creativity, always seeking new challenges and ways to make a meaningful impact.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steve had a deep appreciation for life's pleasures. He was an avid fan of Tampa Bay Lightning hockey and enjoyed attending Broadway shows that stirred his imagination. Travel was one of his greatest joys; he relished discovering new places and cultures. Golf outings brought him both relaxation and camaraderie, while comedy shows offered laughter that he readily shared with others. A keen follower of politics and current events, Steve remained engaged with the world around him and valued thoughtful conversation.
Those who knew Steve remember him for his genuine and friendly personality. He had an innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His kindness extended to animals as well—he especially loved cats and treated them with great affection.
Steve is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tracy Setty Gresham; stepdaughter, Alexa Watson; son-in-law, Derek Walker; Mother-in-law, Bonnie Setty; brother-in-law, Brian Setty; sister-in-law, Wendy Setty; nieces Jolee and Jessa Setty; sister, Laura Miller; brother-in-law, Joel Miller; nephew, Christopher Miller; uncle Mike Ronsiek; aunt Barbara Carson; uncle Byron Carson; and cousins Trey Carson, McKenzie Carson, and Clayton Ronsiek.
He was preceded in death by his father Rex Maynard Gresham; mother Barbara Ann Lacy; birth mother Patricia Ronsiek; father-in-law John Richard Setty
