Steven Eugene Hall, aged 66, passed away on April 22, 2024, in Chicago, IL. Born on July 15, 1957, Steven's life was marked by his vibrant personality and his dedication to serving others.
Steven was a cherished member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, where he also served as a Youth Director, impacting many lives with his enthusiasm and spiritual guidance. His career spanned various roles, including positions at Dillard's and Saks, regional merchandising for the Italian Design Group in Phoenix and Brookwood Trading Company in Alpharetta, GA. He later excelled in interior design at Walter E. Smithe Furniture in Chicago and worked as a part-time consultant on special projects for Estee Lauder Companies.
Known for his loving, giving, and caring nature, Steven was also joyful, creative, and outgoing. He was exceptionally organized and had a unique ability to make people feel special. His hobbies included a deep appreciation for sports. He was an avid follower of football, basketball, baseball, and golf, enjoying these games with both knowledge and enthusiasm.
Steven is survived by his sister, Linda Hall Sanders and brother-in-law, John E. Sanders; brother, William Louis Hall, Jr. (Bill) and sister-in-law, Susan Hall; brother, Jerry S. Hall and nephews, nieces, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Louis Hall, Sr. and Jean Kenley Hall.
A Service of Death and Resurrection to celebrate Steven's life was held on June 8, 2024, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, reflecting his deep faith and the community he cherished.
