Steven Willis Woods, age 78, passed away on November 23 2025 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. He is survived by his wife Colleen, his children Charlotte and Brandon and 2 grandchildren, Troy and Summer.
He was born in 1947 in Salt Lake City to Willis Woods and Lois Pauline Davis. He graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelors degree and had a very successful career in the automotive, financial and insurance services. His career eventually led him to the San Francisco Bay Area before settling in Arizona. Steve was known for his intelligence and dedication and he was well respected by everyone he worked with.
He was a passionate enthusiast of classic and sports cars, especially German engineering. Steve found joy in reading about them, caring for them and attending car shows. Attending the Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach held a special place in his heart. Another highlight was getting to drive on the Autobahn where he could drive as fast as he wanted. He was also a big fan of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
Steve loved his family, and his dogs. He was always there when you needed him without hesitation or condition. He had a genuine love for the people and passions that mattered most to him. He also loved music, attending concerts, reading and going on adventures with his family.
He will be profoundly missed by his family and everyone that knew him.
