Steven Gary Yee

Steven Gary Yee, age 55, of Phoenix, Arizona, returned to the loving arms of our Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was born May 31, 1970, in Phoenix, Arizona at St Joseph’s Hospital, the son of the late Gary Yee and late May Yee.

Steve grew up in Tucson and in Phoenix where he attended Peter Howell Elementary School, Faith Lutheran School, and Rincon High School in Tucson Arizona. He later attended Thunderbird High School in Phoenix, Arizona and Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

As early as the 1980’s, Steve excelled with computers, learning programming and computer architecture as a child. This passion carried into adulthood as he studied computer science at Arizona State University. It led to a fulfilling career in IT and healthcare IT, working with several startups, and later with Data General/EMC and John C. Lincoln/HonorHealth.

He loved serving his community, working with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, volunteering with various local children’s sports leagues, and especially the National USA Archery community, where he became a Level 4 Coach and National Judge. He also contributed to the national elections in various capacities, always answering the call to civic duty and helping others.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years Susan; his son Spencer and daughter-in-law Grace; and his brother Scott.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Valley Life Church - Tramonto, 34406 N 27th Drive #198, Phoenix, AZ, 85085 with Kyle Rosas and Lee Davis officiating.
