Susan Ann "Susie" Bailey, age 60, passed away on January 15, 2026, in Sun City West, Arizona. Born on March 2, 1965, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Susan lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for those around her.
A beloved wife, mother, and teacher, Susan was known for her kind heart and joyful spirit. Her ability to make others feel welcome and loved was one of her most cherished gifts. Whether in the classroom or among friends and family, she brought light and laughter to every space she entered.
Susan shared a beautiful life with her husband Matthew Bailey, 52. Together they raised two daughters—Bianca Bailey, 30, and Jasmine Bailey, 29—who were the pride and joy of her life. She found immense happiness in watching them grow and supporting them through every stage of their lives.
Her passions were as vibrant as her personality. A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Susan cheered with enthusiasm during every game. She had a creative soul that found expression through arts and crafts and a love for music that drew her to countless live concerts. Traveling brought her great joy—whether it was setting sail on cruises or hitting the road for spontaneous adventures. Disney held a special place in her heart, capturing the magic and wonder that so perfectly mirrored her own outlook on life.
Susan also had a deep appreciation for literature and storytelling. She especially loved Dr. Seuss—his whimsical words resonated with her playful nature and belief in kindness. Cooking was another way she showed love; preparing meals for others was not just a task but an act of care that brought people together.
In December of 2025, Susan was diagnosed with ALS—a challenge she faced with courage and grace. Even in the face of adversity, she continued to embody strength and compassion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anita Wolfgram and Edward Wolfgram. Their memory lived on through Susan’s stories and the values they instilled in her.
Susan's welcoming heart and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who carry her love forward.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at American Legion Post 100 - 711 W Persimmon St. , Rogers, Arkansas 72756.
This will be a celebration of Susan’s life, not a formal funeral. Casual, comfortable attire is welcome, and guests are encouraged to wear colors that reflect joy and love.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that any expressions of support be made through the GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/878936309) that has already been shared to help support Susan and Matthew throughout the ALS journey, including lost wages and funeral expenses.
Any remaining funds will be donated in Susan’s honor to the ALS Foundation to support ALS awareness and research.
