Susan Marie Peterson

Susan Marie Peterson, age 73, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her home in Redwood City.

Born on September 5, 1952 in Highland Park, Illinois, Susan was the beloved daughter of Aurelio Louis Ceccotti and Betty Jean Ceccotti. She grew up in Redwood City, surrounded by family and friends in the close-knit neighborhood she called home.

Susan was known for her kindness and her willingness to help others. She had a deep love for her family. She enjoyed gardening, embracing her creative side by spending hours coloring, crafting thoughtful handmade gifts, and delicately painting eggs, as well as volunteering her time for the St. Pius Children's Theatre.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Peterson and her brothers Dante Ceccotti and Jack Ceccotti and sister-in-law's Paula Ceccotti and Lori Ceccotti and many nieces and nephews.
