We share with deep sadness the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Susan Mary Weinraub (née Frederico), born on August 28, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, who died on January 6, 2026.
Sue devoted her professional life to caring for and supporting others. In the 1970s and 1980s, she worked as a surgical technician at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She later joined her husband, Tom, in co-running their business, helping people find employment throughout Northeast Indiana. After relocating to Seattle in 2007 to be closer to family, Sue worked in administrative roles at The Polyclinic, where she retired in 2019.
Sue found her greatest joy in being with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and happiness. Her faith was deeply important to her and remained a guiding presence throughout her life, sustaining her with strength during the last decade of illness.
Sue died after a courageous journey following a Parkinson's disease diagnosis, later complicated by dementia. She was 76 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Sara Billups, Sara's husband Drew, and her grandchildren, Asher and Sabine of Seattle, Washington; by her son, Dean Testerman, of Los Angeles, California; and by her sister, Deanna Marasovich, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Sue will be remembered for her faith, perseverance, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy of love, faithfulness, and quiet strength will live on through those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
