Sue Rayno, 77, of Lakeland Florida passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve from a long illness surrounded by loved ones. Sue was born on October 8, 1948, in Concord, New Hampshire.
Sue graduated from Penacook High School in Penacook, New Hampshire. She loved working in her community and had careers at several local businesses such as Beede Electric, Thirty Pines and Rivco before finding her dream job at Merrimack Valley Middle School. Sue cherished every day at MVMS working with an amazing group of colleagues and left an impression on every child she interacted with.
She is survived by her husband Richard, son Derek and his wife Lisa. Her sisters Joan Miner; Roseanna Matott; Lu-ann Lamb and her husband Harold and her sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" LaBrecque. Sisters-in-law Sandra Buskey and Barbara Stanley and brothers-in-law Terry Rayno and Howard Woodman and his wife Suzanne.
She was preceded in death by her parents Armand and Rita (Gibeau) LaBrecque, her brother Armand LaBrecque Jr., sister Diane LaBrecque Barker, and by brothers-in-law Ernest Miner and Clifford "Dusty" Matott.
Parents-in-law Richard Sr. and Sophia Costa, brothers and sisters-in-law David Stanley, Steve and Alice Rayno and Michael and Gail Rayno.
Sue found joy in simple treasures; family and friends around the pool, gathering for pot-luck dinners and vacationing at York Beach, Maine.
Sue was blessed to spend her life with her greatest love, her husband Richard, and was a devoted mother to her son Derek and daughter-in-law Lisa. Sue valued family above all and will leave memories behind to countless nieces and nephews. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, family, friends and colleagues alike.
Her spirit lives on in cherished memories, in laughter shared and in the warmth of family and friends.
