Tamie Ann Monroe (Ganton)

Tamie passed away March 9, 2026 in the care of Jackson Hospice Home. September 1, 1962, she was born Tamie Ann Ganton by her parents Mervin and Ruth (Powell) Ganton Jr. in Jackson, MI. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She attended Jackson High School and continued on to study architecture at Jackson College. Tamie enjoyed spending time with her family, rock and roll music, and going on walks. She is survived by her sister, Mary Ganton; brother, Todd Ganton; children, Britney (Eric) Tresslar and Michael Williams Jr.; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin John Ganton Jr. and Ruth Doris (Powell); brothers, Timothy Ganton and Thomas Ganton; and nephew, Randall McClintic Jr. Contributions can be made to the family for final cost or donation to hospice.
