Tara Marie Mulligan passed away on January 13, 2026, in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Born on October 27, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York, Tara brought a vibrant energy and creative spark to all who knew her.
A lifelong lover of music, Tara found joy and inspiration in every note. Whether dancing with abandon, singing along to beloved songs, or quietly listening with appreciation, music was her faithful companion. She channeled this passion into songwriting and poetry, using words to express the depth of her emotions and the brightness of her spirit.
Tara was a cherished sister to Lorie and Erin, sister-in-law to Steven,
nephews Jo and William and niece Claire, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her warmth and humor enriched gatherings and daily life alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary, as well as her grandparents Bill and Mary and Phil and Mary. Their memories remained a guiding presence throughout her life.
Tara's creative soul left an enduring impression on those around her. Her legacy lives on through the music she loved, the poetry she wrote, and the joyful memories she leaves behind. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
