Tawanda "Wanda" Lynn Brandon was born on March 6, 1959, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to the late Clifton Bradley and Catherine Bradley. She entered eternal rest on January 9, 2026, at the Abbey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Affectionately known as Wanda, she was a proud graduate of the Plainfield High School Class of 1977. She lived in New Jersey until she moved to Florida in 2005. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—loved spending time with family, playing BINGO, enjoyed computer games, and especially cherished her time spent fishing on the water.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Howard Brandon, Clifton Bradley Jr., and Donald Stanley; and two sisters, Deborah Sarku and Shirley Bradley Hardison.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Terry Brandon of Phillipsburg, PA, and Paul Graves of Plainfield, NJ; and her three daughters, Tara L. (Joel) Dawson of Lake Mary, FL, Cathy M. (Cuttino) Brandon Fowler of Virginia Beach, VA, and Timeka N. Brandon of Edison, NJ. Wanda was blessed with many grandchildren: J'Nazia Brown, Kayla Elie, Lori Brandon, Jason Graves, Bryanna Reid, Kyren Elie, Dominick Brandon, Kataleia Graves, Josiah Dawson, Chrystyan Fowler, Jeremiah Dawson, and Joah Dawson, as well as three great-grandchildren, Ronald "Trey" Jones, III, Joe'Na Blackshear, and Reign Jones.
She is also survived by two brothers, Drew White of St. Petersburg, FL, and Rev. James E. Moore Sr. (Margaret) of Roselle, NJ; four sisters, Patricia Coleman of Manassas, VA, Carolyn Howard of South Plainfield, NJ, Gwendolyn Legrand of Plainfield, NJ, and Wendy Hopkins of Virginia Beach, VA; and her sister-in-law, Judith Brandon of Winter Park, FL.
Wanda will be dearly missed by her loving family and by the many friends and extended relatives whose lives she touched.
