Taylor (Tim) Greene

Taylor(Tim) Milton Greene III age 80, of Chapel Hill NC, passed away on December 1, 2025
He was born on July 23, 1945 in Craven County NC to Taylor(Ted) Milton Greene Jr. and Peggy Collums Greene.
Tim is survived by his Children Peggy Leggett (Sneads Ferry), Taylor M Greene IV(Victoria) (Surf City) Step Children Barbara Lewis(Warren) (Sanford), Karen Moriarty(David) Chapel Hill. Grandchildren Robert Leggett, Michael McBroom(Heather), Morgan Jones (Curtis), Kristy Sloan(Brian), Carl Moriarty. Sister Cindy Greene Riggan(Staley). Many Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Catherine H Greene, Father and Mother Ted and Peggy Greene, Daughter Penny Greene Foster, Step Son Carl Jones.
He will be remembered for his ability to talk to anyone about anything for hours, his dry sense of humor and his love of all kinds of animals.
A service will be held at Bethlehem Church at 3624 Saxapahaw Rd Mebane will be held on 12/17/2025 beginning at 1:00pm. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the life of Taylor(Tim) Milton Greene III.
In lieu of flowers, Tim was an avid lover of animals. Please remember him with a gift to a local rescue group.
