Teodulo Guadalupe Garcia 93, of Chula Vista California, Beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend was called home to the Lord on January 20,2026 in the comfort of home and family. Teodulo's life was a testament to love, kindness, and dedication.

Teodulo, oldest of 10 surviving children, was born to Apolonio and Ellen Garcia January 24,1932 in Taytay Rizal Philippines. Growing up he became a talented trumpet player, played in Banda Dos, his hometown band and with his Alma Mater San Beda College where he majored in Banking and Finance then graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Science in 1954.

Teodulo or Ted as he was called, always wanted more out of life and joined the United States Navy October 1955 as a musician. Boot camp was in NTC San Diego then to A School in Philadelphia where he met his wife Eleanor. Married in 1961 in Delaware, soon they transferred to Guam and welcomed 2 children, Vicky and Edward. After many tours on carriers, re-enlistments, playing trumpet with the Comnavairpac band, and traveling the world he finally transferred to San Diego California 1968 where it is finally called home and his third child Vesta was born. At his last re-enlistment Ted was Navy Petty Office First Class, representing strong leadership and a deep commitment to the Navy.

After retirement in 1975 from active duty Ted could not let go of Navy life and found his second career with Naval Air Station Coronado California as a Production Controller for the now retired F-14 fighter jet. After 20 years Ted finally decided to retire, but never rested. Ted continued his passion of playing the trumpet in many bands, choir with Saint John's Epsicopal church, joining the Free Masons, various Fil-am clubs, photography (he always had a camera on hand) and Bowling. But family and friends were always his priority.

Ted is survived by daughters Vicky, and Vesta; Grandchildren Katherine, Zayne and Carolyn, Son in Law Robert; Sisters Alicia, Gilda, Rowena; Brothers Rodolfo, Ebenzer, and Rolando. Teodulo is preceded in death by Son Edward; Brothers Rogelio, Reynaldo, Sister Amelia, Parents Ellen and Apolonio.
