Terry Campbell

Terry Michael Campbell, Sr., 76, of Chapin, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born on April 16, 1949, in Greenville, South Carolina, Terry was the beloved son of the late FM and Frances Campbell.

Terry graduated from Carolina High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina. His education laid the foundation for a life dedicated to family, community, and personal growth.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Terry is survived by his loving wife of many years, Donna Campbell; his children: Michael Campbell and his wife Cindy; Leslie Campbell and her husband Matthew Nelson; and Braden Campbell and his wife Lindsey. He was also a proud grandfather to Colbin, Carson, Cason, Cooper, Cailyn, Caroline, and Charley. Additionally, he is survived by his brother Tony Campbell and sister Judy Graham. Finally, we would like to thank his loving caregiver, Inez Viera, who was always there for Terry.

Terry’s life was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family. To them, he was more than just a father—he was a lifelong coach and steadfast guardian. Known for his motivational spirit and ability to inspire those around him to reach their full potential, Terry’s influence extended far beyond the walls of his home. He was the watchful shepherd of his family—a source of strength who always looked out for their well-being and encouraged them to keep moving forward.

Terry had a passion for coaching baseball and spent countless hours mentoring young athletes both on and off the field. His love for camping with his family created cherished memories that will be treasured for generations. These moments reflected his deep appreciation for togetherness and the simple joys of life. Not to mention, he was a diehard Gamecock fan!

Preceded in death by his parents FM and Frances Campbell, Terry leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dedication that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

May Terry’s memory bring comfort to those who loved him as they carry forward the lessons he imparted through his words and actions.
