Thaddeus (Ted) Sobarnia, age 76, of Mesa, AZ passed away on March 5th, 2026.
He was born on November 7th, 1949, in Chicago to Thaddeus Sobarnia, Sr. and Stella Sobarnia, sibling to Bernadette Jahns.
Ted Sobarnia is survived by his daughters, Michelle Sobarnia (51), Amy (Sobarnia) McKnight (50), Brian McKnight (husband) and grandchildren, Erin McKnight (21), Anna McKnight (19), and Adam McKnight (16).
Ted was was best known for his love of the Chicago Cubs, Lou Malnati's pizza, and coaching his daughters in baseball and softball in Morton Grove.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's honor may be made to OPALS 4 ALS, a nonprofit founded by his daughter Amy McKnight, at opals4als.org
