With heavy hearts, we share the passing of beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife and friend, Theresa Elaine Johnson Bean, who left us on October 6, 2025. Born January 16, 1983, in Alexandria, Minnesota. Theresa was a gentle, radiant presence in the lives of everyone who knew her.
Theresa left us way too young in her life. She is survived by her parents, father and step-mother David C. and Sherri J. Johnson; mother and step-father Karen N. and Henry E. Hustus; Sisters Barbara Gonzales, Linda Leahy, Eva Tack and step-brother, Henry Hustus III, her husband, James Bean, and her two children, Joshua Colton Kern and Morgan Elaine Kern and by several other family members who will miss her dearly. Her husband and children were the center of her world. She was fiercely proud of them—of their hearts, their growth, and the futures she believed in so deeply. To them, and to all of us, she gave unconditional support, unwavering love, and the kind of encouragement only a mother and sister like Theresa could give.
Theresa's kindness touched every corner of her life. Her laugh, her warmth, and her gentle spirit are gifts we will forever carry with us.
Theresa loved simple joys—quiet mornings, family gatherings, heartfelt conversations, and the comfort of being surrounded by those she cherished. Her absence leaves a profound emptiness, but her memory will live on in our hearts.
She will be deeply, endlessly missed.
A celebration of Theresa's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful soul, we were so fortunate to love.
