Theresa Farinacci

Theresa "Terry" Farinacci (née D'Amico), aged 83, passed peacefully away on March 2, 2026, in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 30,1942, in Brooklyn, she was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Angelina D'Amico.

Terry's life was marked by her dedication to education and her unwavering devotion to her family. She pursued higher education at Brooklyn College. She continued her academic journey at Long Island University in Brooklyn, where she obtained a Master of Science degree. Her commitment to learning and personal growth was a testament to her determination and drive. She truly loved teaching high school students at Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Brooklyn, NY.

Above all else, Terry's greatest joy in life was her family. She found immense happiness in being surrounded by her loved ones and treasured every moment spent together. Her warmth and love created a strong foundation for her family, leaving behind a legacy of unity and devotion that will be cherished for generations.

Terry is survived by her children: Fred Farinacci (New York, NY); Stephen Farinacci and his wife Jessica (Roslyn, NY); and Susan Luecke and her husband Mark (Darien, CT). She was the proud grandmother of Julia Farinacci, Jake Farinacci, Kendall Luecke, Erin Luecke, and Scott Luecke. Her memory will also be carried forward by those who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brothers Dominick and Robert D'Amico.

A Wake will be held on March 6, 2026, from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Andrew Torregrossa and Sons 1305 79th Street, Brooklyn, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on March 7, 2026, at 09:15 AM at St. Anselm's Church 356 82nd Street, Brooklyn, Ny. A Burial will be held on March 7, 2026 at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemeteries 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY
